Shift Leader

A leadership position supervising the operation of the store in the absence of the Manager by ensuring the execution of PERC and Position Priorities every minute of every shift that they work.

Direct Supervisor:

Owner/Operator or Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensure that PERC is practiced by every staff member every moment of the shift and that Position Priorities are adhered to.

O Monitor speed of service and the sales process, ensure that drink-making procedures are being followed, and that all customers are being engaged in active conversation at the delivery counter.

O Maintain a clean and energetic store atmosphere customers will feel comfortable in a clean environment, and if staff energy is high, and the baristas are having fun, the customers will too-this will guarantee that each customer will leave the store in a better mood.

O Ensure that all product is fully stocked and available.

O Ensure that the weekly and monthly maintenance chores are completed each day.

Supervise the operation of the store in the Manager's absence.

O Make sure staff members are present and ready to work at the time they are scheduled.

O Ensure that the 3 Hour Checklist is performed on time

O Ensure that all opening/closing chores are performed properly, that the store is fully operational five minutes before the posted opening time, and that it remains fully operational until five minutes after close.

O Perform managerial duties when needed, including filling out the ABC Tracker throughout the day, receiving and storing orders, reconciling the cash drawers, issuing employee reprimands, and any other tasks delegated by the Manager.

O Ensure that daily marketing operations are executed properly, meeting any goals that have been set for the day (i.e. 10 planned business drops are completed)

Qualifications:

18 years or older preferred

Must be upbeat and enthusiastic, with a willingness to lead. Must complete the New Barista training program

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
